Host commentary - Oh Justin please leave us alone. It just sounds so unfinished and something about the production is genuinely grating. It honestly could have been my favorite Hard Candy album track if it didn’t sound so grainy and flawed.

Such a personal and touching song.
The haunting production/lyrics were an interesting twist the end HC with, and Voices is certainly better than its Hello Suckers counterpart.
. I gave this a 1 because I feel like the song has so much damn wasted potential. I love the chorus, so much but her shrill vocals, the glitchy production, and that horrendous attempt at rap or beat poetry or whatever she was going for. Like a lot of the songs on American Life, just when you hit a point where you think you like the song, something pops up and ruins it.
