So, like I always asked already but never got an answer: Do you all think The Hobbit will be able to compete with such numbers? It's been a very long time since LOTR and to think it did that good back then without 3D and inflation is impressive.

I hope so. I have yet to see any real promo, though.
I personally can't wait to see how that new frame technique will pan out. I'll go to whatever cinema will be able to show it like that, no matter how far it is.
