Rihanna is one of the luckiest people on earth, I think. People like Nicki Minaj and Wynter Gordon have been in the industry since '04, and they've only started releasing albums in the last couple of years, whereas Rihanna started working on a mixtape to send to labels in '04 and had a Top 3 hit and an album out a year later, and her success has just grown from there. She was basically thrown into the industry and not only did she stay afloat, she set records almost immediately and it's been a massive journey of success since then.
