Really it's more a case of BAFTAs -> Oscars is the same as Brits -> Grammys.
I know, in terms of importance of the events. But the BRIT Awards have some voted categories just like the VMAs and artists like One Direction & Lana Del Rey can win awards there too, which is not the case for the GRAMMYs.
