Some interesting new polling from two of Iowa's congressional districts suggests the race isn't all that done there after all. His campaign would have been hoping to have that state locked up so they can divert funding elsewhere.
It's not even that close either. Just losing one of Iowa/Nevada/Florida/Ohio would be devastating to Trump's chances.
Here are a few of the stuff I've heard today at the high school I'm working at
"Can I vote for a dog?"
"I heard Donald Trump called Miss Universe fat"
"My favorite part of the debate is when Hillary brought up Miss Universe" - this Miss Universe thing seems like a popular thing today
"I don't like either candidate but I like Hillary more"
I really don't get what make some Trump supporters (and some anti-Hill folks that doesn't even support him) believe in the absurbest of theories. First the body double, as if they never gotten up from being sick for a couple hours and change up clothing/make-up. Then the "earpiece" at CIC as if they never seen a human being ear before. And now the latest is "hand signals" as if Hillary can't even scratch her face? And they're serving me Beyonce "fake" baby bump teas with the thing in the back of her dress.
Right. Donald was sitting up their sniffling and snorting like he had the largest piece of crack rock stuck in his nostril, but OH NOES!!! Hillary scratched herself! Alert the presses!
And on top of that, they saw fir to go after Hillary's looks, as if Donald is the sexiest man on the planet. What kind of rose-colored glasses are conservatives wearing?
I'm really happy to see the huge attention the voting registration is receiving. Seems like every site site, tv show, and overall the whole media is talking about and making easier for people to do it.
Hopefully we can get all young people to register..... then we need to get them to actual vote.
I still find it strange how no one mentioned the working class at the debate. I feel like that would have been an easy win for Trump. He's terrible for debates; he missed two clear chances: the totally inclusive golf course vs Bill's white only golf membership. And the working class who feel like their jobs are threatened by Hillary's ecofriendly plans.
When he tried (weakly) to bring up the 'superpredator' comment I laughed

I just don't know what the Trumpets have left to support their candidate that sounds logical. They said Clinton lies too much so Donald is the way to go yet he lied 50 times in under 1.5 hours in front of almost 90 million people. Like what do they have left? They lost in experience, in honesty (which is really bad considering it's Clinton), in EVERYTHING. Democrats have won Iowa because of absentee ballots and early in-person voting. Requests for absentees were down for both parties, but Democratic ones still outnumbered Republican ones and that 'down' figure was posted a week ago. No news of requests since. I hope the debate energizes more Dems and Hillary will be down in IA tomorrow which is the day early voting begins. She'll be hosting a registration drive and urging people to go to the polls in Des Moines. Let's hope she pulls through in the end.
