I wish Hillary had waited for polls to close in Cali before speaking, like Bernie did. I want her to be able to give this historic speech AND claim California.
In my preview before tonight’s races, I wrote that North Dakota and South Dakota provided us a chance to see how big an advantage Sanders gets in a caucus compared with a primary. That’s because the two states are demographically and politically very similar. Well so far, Sanders is leading in North Dakota, which held a caucus today, by 32 percentage points. Clinton is ahead in the South Dakota primary by 7 percentage points.
if the least democratic way of voting, caucuses, was removed, Sanders wouldn't even be CLOSE to 300 delegates behind. He's be like 600 delegates behind
You have to stay at your caucus location for several hours. It sucks for people who are elderly, disabled, and those who can't afford to take several hours off work to participate. Some people also don't like declaring their votes in public.

I'm so excited for her speech. I remember being in class in Elementary School in my Christian, conservative private school being taught by a teacher that presidents had to be white and men because men are better leaders. I was legitimately confused when Hillary and Obama ran for president in 2008 because I thought it was illegal. I know her being a woman isn't supposed to be a big deal. It's not why I'm supporting her, but I am just getting so emotional over the history that is being made and I could not be more proud that she is the one to be making it. I cannot think of a woman more deserving of this than her.
