I'm sorry, but Delphine was the best, most well-rounded character of Coven. When Ryan makes intense, deep, and complex characters, he really does a great job. Just like Aslyum, how every character was dynamic, interesting, multi dimensional. Polar opposite to Freak Show, which had no characters like that
What pisses me off is that they set Delphine on a path to racial acceptance for the first 2/3 of the season, culminating with Delphine crying at Roots. They then rushed the rest of the show and acted like Delphine's gradual development never happened. So stupid.
Delphine was definitely the most well-acted side character, though.

I agree with TGT's post, which kinda invalidates the above one.
Coven was really good until the last couple episodes, because those last 2 cancelled out literally any and all development for characters except 1 or 2. Worst resolution (?) by far.

The reason they did that is because the fans (rightly) called RM out on his bull****.
Delphine is not a fictional character. She is a historical figure infamous for committing heinous crimes against humanity because she viewed POC as less than human. The fact that they tried to "forgive" and "redeem" her was the most idiotic thing I have ever seen on a TV show. Ryan is a dumbass and he's lucky his team responded to the backlash and changed the course of the story, however messy and last-minute it may have been.
