So I decided to do the OP and it's almost done. It's gonna be a nice refresh, can't wait for Haus to put it up once it's done.

In this case, taking into consideration her catalog sales:
The Fame era catalog sales since Aug 2013: 580,000 copies
The Fame Monster era catalog sales since Aug 2013: 360,000 copies
Born This Way era catalog sales since Aug 2013: 530,000 copies
= +1,470,000 catalog sales
+ 2,382,000 (Applause) + 1,250,000 (Do What U Want)
= 5,100,000 new sales since then
46,322,000 + 5,100,000 =
~51,5M US Single Sales
Amazing

So she's at 100m singles WW? :
her selling just 40m singles outside of the US doesn't add up

She's sold like ~8.5m singles in the U.K, ~2.2m singles in Aus, ~3.5m singles in Canada, ~2.1m singles in Germany, ~3m in Japan, and ~3m in South Korea. That's only ~75m singles sold in all the biggest markets. Not that I want bring her down like the haters in SYG but I think the 90-100m single sales number is correct and that 125m number being reported by "official" sites is just a number UMG throws out when asked how many singles she sold because they can get away with it since it's not TOO ridiculous of a number. Kind of like how UMG or whatever label Rihanna is on throws that 40m albums sold number around.

Oh well that's still MASSIVE since she did it with 14 singles only, she'll reach 100m singles WW with LG5 so she's fine

She sold a bit more in South Korea
2010 year-end: https://archive.is/rHwHb (only sales from April on, they didn't track sales before April 2010)
Telephone 1,027,342
Poker Face 673,219
Bad Romance 217,706
2011 https://archive.is/eSRuv
Born This Way 763,202
The Edge Of Glory 392,479
Judas 367,533
Poker Face 354,888
2012 https://archive.is/fVwvc
Poker Face 276,095
2013 https://archive.is/Qib5Q
Applause 106,385
=4.18M (only from her year-end entries, for example Telephone was also still charting in 2011 but didn't make the year-end, I didn't include those sales)
But sales of Just Dance, Paparazzi, LoveGame, and (most) sales of Poker Face, Telephone and Bad Romance are missing because they didn't track/report sales until April 2010.
And that 125M figure most likely also includes ringtone sales, like the IFPI. Her ringtone sales aren't reported/certified anywhere outside of Japan so we don't know how much she's sold but they must have been huge.
I mean BR and Telephone sold 9.7M and 7.4M WW (singles + ringtones) from 1 December 2009 - 30 November 2010 (IFPI) even though they only sold 3.6M and 2.59M singles in the US during that time

The OP should add Billboard as a source for 125M singles sold.

In the Britney & Beyonce receipts threads they're using ringtones receipts from 2011 we should add them for Gaga too if we could track them?

ARTPOP sold 63k in Brazil during 2013. It had a pretty good longevity on iTunes during the first half of 2014 and I was so sure it was heading towards 80k (2x Platinum) and it probably got there but her flop label didn't cerfity it

Forbes is like the most recent source to confirm Gaga has sold over 150 million records worldwide. I guess the "missing" records are TEA/SEA.

How many more sources are going to list the 150M figure until people start using it and claiming it as factual? Billboard, Forbes, LiveNation, Mircrosoft, etc... yet y'all acting like credible industry figures claiming it isn't true.

Yeah because inflated industry numbers have never been widely reported, right?
None of those publications listed has never even tracked worldwide record sales, so it's easy to assume they are just reporting inflated, or at least extremely rounded, data (which happens to everyone, see the example someone made earlier about Rihanna's 40m album sales, or TD selling 11m copies). Even IFPI tends to report shipments or numbers inflated by ringtones etc. instead of actual sales, which is something that has been pointed out before (though I don't see the issue in counting ringtones as actual sales, maybe cause they are cheaper?).
The purpose of this thread is to be as accurate as possible with the few offical infos we have on worldwide record sales and it is gonna remain like this while I am the OP

It still baffles me how huge she was in France during her peak yet she 'only' could get 2 #1s (Careful: That's actually pretty good, though. Some pop girls have no #1s at all).
The fact France paid absolute DUST to Just Dance, hihi. France always knows the tea.

Yeah, France is a very difficult market to crack but she did very well there even Applause went top 5 there
I'm actually pissed about Brazil, it's not just Gaga! All pop girls suffer with their singles in the Brazil
