I always appreciate the effort Mariah takes to bring her old songs to public attention/nostalgia again. It reflects her rapport with her fans who still love and listen to her old songs in spite of time itself.
I suppose this 'surprise' will be the announcement of her next album, since it has been mentioned time and again that she has been working on new material before/since childbirth.
