She should announce the single and release the video the same week, and book at least one good performance slot and idk maybe release it to radio a bit before. Bc she always has their support initially.

I know it is a risk but it's a risk she needs to take.

And see how much radio and streaming have supported songs like Hello and Thinking Out Loud and Stay With Me...surely Stone Cold is just as good as those songs (if not better).

And you see how much the GP has been supporting her ballad-style covers and her national anthem and several other things that show off her stripped down vocals. It's what they want from her!

The only problem I have with SC is that I feel like it's too heavy... I don't know if you know what I mean. Compare it to STW or TOL, they are more radio friendly ballads than SC I think...

Anyway, I agree with you and the response for a Demi ballad has been amazing (SNL, every SC performance and the praises she gets because of them and the Hello cover)
