Yes! It does bring attention. The word "documented" is key here. All of these magnanimous, saintly things she does are heavily documented and played up for the media. Where another, better person would do these things selflessly, humbly, and quietly, she publicizes each and every last one of them because they help perpetuate her image. It's akin to Justin Bieber's blatantly obvious redemption tour, where he suddenly became the patron saint of suspiciously well-timed and well-photographed good deeds. They're all marketing stunts.

And you don't know what other pop stars do. A truly benevolent pop star wouldn't be publicizing their patronage for their own personal gain.

Except she doesn't. Give me an example of her publicizing her sending donations to fans. Sure she publicized the Secret Sessions, but that's different...that's a really cool idea and there isn't anything wrong with her talking about it.

She's a huge star, she can't do something without people talking about it on social media or taking pictures. People find out about her donations to people and stuff because the receivers post about it. Taylor doesn't say anything. That isn't her fault. Same with when she visits hospitals and plays music with them....she doesn't post pictures or talk about it, other people do.

It's only genuine if it's done out of the genuine goodness of her heart. But it's not. It's all clearly for greater personal gain, hence the ceaseless self-promotion (using her marketing team as a proxy, obviously). See my previous example of the Justin Bieber redemption tour.

And where's your evidence behind this? Just you being blinded by your extreme dislike for her?

Again, Taylor is one of the biggest stars in the world at the moment. People talk about her a lot. When something like that makes its way to the internet, its not at all a surprise that some sites like E! and Ryan Seacrest will post about it online.

You're acting like its only genuine if no one hears about it.....but if there was nobody posting about it or saying anything, you'd say she doesn't do anything at all.
