Year of release: 2011, Genre(s): Dance Pop, Language(s) - English, Album - Dance Alone (2011)
Okay, so this track was produced (or co-produced at the very least) by RedOne, so it can't be that bad! Anyway, one day, out of curiosity, I decided to look up past Melodifestivalen entries as Sweden is known for their dance music, I figured I was bound to find a bop. Well, I was right! This is a cute dance pop song that, in my opinion, would've fit really well with 2011/2012 radio. Since Eurovision has a 3 minute rule, it's also not too long to be on the radio, so very radio friendly. It's just a very solid dance pop song, in my opinion.
Year of release: 2014, Genre(s): Electro Pop, Language(s) - Chinese, Album - Play (2014)
I have a lot of tracks on my year end to thank my friend Scene., and this is one of them. I think it took a few plays for me to get into it, but it's such a jam. The music video is cute, too!
Oh, and this is the first Chinese song on my list. Her impact!
Year of release: 2014, Genre(s): Electro Hip-Hop, Language(s) - Korean, Album - Are You Ready? (2014)
I remember when they released their first teaser, and I wanted to like them, honest, but their first song just wasn't what I wanted. This song is closer to what I wanted, and while it is a bop, I still feel like there's room to improve. I believe in them - they could be B.I.G!!!!
... I know I'm lame.
(I wonder if they are b.i.g....)
*Honestly? No; I don't think I'm ready. Please spare me from your ovary-bursting attack*
Year of release: 2014, Genre(s): Dance Pop, Language(s) - Korean, Album - Do Better (2014)
This is just one of the many songs I found from DG Digital's countdown that I mentioned really early on in my own countdown, and the snippet he played always had the "do, do better do" part play, and every time I'd be singing that to myself for a week, until I managed to forget about it ONLY FOR IT TO COME BACK. Like, this song is like Sun Is Up part 2 in that regard, although I like this song more. It's okay if this song gets stuck in my head.
The MV is still a mess, though.
*"Do, do better do" ominously plays on loop infinitely inside of my head*

Day 10, and yeah I'm late on this again. I'll get through this, promise!
Today, we saw Mia Martina make a return with a song off of her 2012 debut album "Devotion", but unfortunately, 46 points just isn't enough for her to catch up to Adore. Mia is still second place with 120 points. The bottom 2 of the Top 5, however, now consists of Scarlet, whose insanely catchy debut song netted them 50 points, and B.I.G, who seem Ready for that #5 spot with 49 points.
Just short of the top 5 is Chinese pop superstar Jolin Tsai, who didn't come to Play with her new lead, which got her 48 points, and Love Generation (now Stockholm), who are Dancing Alone at the #7 spot with 47 points.
Although Mia had the lowest-scoring song of the day, she is the highest-placing of today's artists, as well as the only one who will appear again on the countdown. Is she coming back with a vengeance? Guess you'll have to come back to find out.

Year of release: 2014, Genre(s): Rap/Pop, Language(s) - Korean, Album - Attention (2014)
Okay, so cute story about AlphaBAT - their first single was a song based around the alphabet, hence the name, and although it had a really noisy production, the members looked like sex gods in the video so it was okay.
After that, they released this song + MV and I was like "Wow! This sounds like what BTS wanted to do, but couldn't." and I was so floored and slain etc. I was ready to buy my stan card...
Then they released something like Oh My God or idek what, and they took a complete 180 on their image. They turned super aegyo and it was just like "Good the **** bye!". I decided right then I was done with them, no matter how cute they are.
*Secretly still wanting to be beaten with those night sticks though*
Year of release: 2012, Genre(s): Dance Pop, Language(s) - Chinese, Album - Hope In The Darkness (2012)
I found about about this song through another recommendation by a RTer - the same one who recommended Sophie Ellis-Bextor's album. Anyway, although the album as a whole was solid, this song stood out to me. I was just like "YAAAAAAAS" in my head the whole time I was listening to it. It might not be everyone's cup of tea, but it's definitely mine.
Oh, and this is the last Chinese song on my countdown, so sorry C-Pop fans.
*At least he got away from SM before **** really hit the fan*
Year of release: 2012, Genre(s): Dance Pop, Language(s) - English, Album - Fastlife (2012)
(It's a bit pitched and I can't rly do anything about it...)
I will get this out of the way now:
Jealous will not be on this list, remix or otherwise
Neither will any of the songs from Nick Jonas' latest album. None.
I am #TeamJoe
That said, I was listening to Pandora (where quite a few of my year end songs came from, especially the ones not from 2014), and this song came on. I was like "Wait, this is Joe Jonas? ". I honestly did not want to like it just because of the stigma that came with him being part of the Jonas Brothers (and Disney in general), but I'll be damned if I wasn't full-blown slain when this came on. It's generic 2011/2012 dance pop and I am such a sucker for that type of music.
Originally, I had 3 Joe Jonas songs on my year-end, but 2 of them got the cut when making this list because they got old for me fast, but this one still slays me.
"She's a kleptomaniac - she'll steal your heart away..."
Year of release: 2014, Genre(s): Dance Pop, Language(s) - English, Album - **** Me Like You Mean It (2014)
This is another song I found through the Billboard Dance/Club Play chart, and I instantly fell in love with it because I love talentless blonde women singing with overly-autotuned vocals over a generic dance beat. No, but seriously this was such a jam and usually the dance/club chart people only have one bop...but as you'll see that's not her.
Year of release: 2013, Genre(s): Pop/Rap, Language(s) - Korean, Album - Moments (2013)
So, this was originally a different song (please don't kill me Sorbet), and while that song is a bop, I realized that She's Mine just does so much more for me, and was a bigger part of my year.
Also, this song is one of the songs that goes under my "use" clause - I did know this song in 2013, but I paid it complete dust then. I decided to listen to it again in 2014 and fell in LOVE with it. It made me want to look up more U-KISS songs (and maybe even become a KISSME (what type of fan base name is that? ))
WITH THAT OUT OF THE WAY, I love when K-Pop boy bands go from making cute pop or dance pop, whatever, and they randomly drop a rap song. Like, every time this comes up on shuffle in my iTunes, I just start melting. Also, I suddenly feel the urge to drink a lot of water, but I'm not sure if that's related to the song or not.

Day 11 and it actually came the day after Day 10. I'm getting better at this y'all!
Nobody has managed to dethrone Adore Delano from her throne, let alone anyone in the Top 3, and today basically just sees a bunch of new artist entries.
Today's highest-peaking artist is U-Kiss, as they claim 55 points for themselves, putting them in 4th place. Just after is KORR-A, whose leaving a Legend for herself at #5, gaining 54 points.
Outside of the top 5, we have the superior Jonas Brother, Joe, stealing that 6th spot just like a Kleptomaniac, garnering himself 53 points. Behind Joe, we see our first ever Language winner, former Super Junior idol Han Geng, winning the Language winner title in Chinese! His song, "Disregard", got him 52 points.
On the lower spectrum, we have AlphaBAT, who only got 51 points. Idk maybe if you weren't such trash you'd place higher.
It is interesting to note that both of the 2 highest placing artists today both have at least one more entry on the countdown. Could they be coming like a Dark Horse for the #1 spot? Maybe, but you won't know unless you check back.
