All Saints: Cuarteto de chicas inglesas que formaron uno de los grupos más representativos del brit-pop a finales de los noventa, sobre todo en Europa. Muchos oyentes las comparaban con las Spice Girls, ya que se formaron en 1996, más o menos contemporaneamente. En los pocos años que estuvieron activas lograron dos álbumes de platino, dos de oro y records mundiales de más de 10 millones en ventas.

Ellas son las hermanas Nicole y Natalie Appleton, Melanie Blatt y Shazney Lewis. En 1997 sacan su primer sencillo "I know where it's at", y luego los más recordados "Never ever" y "Lady marmalade" que fueron número 1 en varios sitios del mundo. En 2000 sacan su segundo álbum "Saints and sinners", del cual salen sencillos como "Pure shores (out of reach)" y "Black coffee".

En 2001 se separaron por diferencias entre ellas, y cada una siguió su carrera como solista, ninguna con mucho éxito. En 2006 se vuelven a reunir y sacan otro álbum, pero no logra alcanzar las ventas de sus trabajos anteriores. Para el single "Pure shores (out of reach)" hacen un video en una playa de Norfolk, este es el video para una de mis canciones favoritas de toda la vida

Crash and burn: Tercer single del álbum "Affirmation" del dúo australiano Savage Garden. La canción toca temas de fidelidad y confianza entre amigos, frases como "When darkness is upon your door [...] let me be the one you talk" refuerzan ese concepto, y de la comunicación con un amigo en el momento de un problema.

El video muestra escenas semi-fantásticas, donde personajes surreales se relacionan entre sí en varios cuartos mientras una chica los observa, aislada a través de un vidrio. Mientras, la banda aparece tocando en una de las habitaciones.

El video hace mucho énfasis en temas de comunicación, soltando frases como "Stay connected" o "In cyberscape, contact is anonymous". Incluso en la última repetición del coro, Darren Hayes la interpreta en lenguaje de sordomudos mientras aparece la frase "Communicate any way, any how". En mi opinión una obra maestra como video, para una canción igual de brillante!
