RADIO SAM: Capitol’s Sam Smith is working it ahead of next week’s release of his debut album. The crooner’s performance at New York’s iHeartRadio Theater was streamed on all Clear Channel Pop, Hot AC, Mainstream AC and Urban AC station websites, and three songs will be available on demand on all iHeart stations Tuesday (6/17), his street date. He also performed three songs on camera for SiriusXM, recorded breaks, interviews on The Pulse and Heart & Soul. On Tuesday he’ll appear on Elvis Duran’s show and perform “Stay With Me” live for the first time on U.S. radio—which will be carried on 60+ stations including Z100, Y100 and Q102. That evening will find Smith taking the stage of the storied Apollo Theater as it celebrates its 80th anniversary and making TV appearances on Good Morning America, Letterman and The View. Here’s hoping that sometime next week he gets a chance to exhale. (6/13a)

He's on Capitol. Not surprising.
at the pre-orders for the newbie. No shade, that's more than Iggy's first week total.
