Actually, most people wouldn't agree with the second half of what you've said because it's all based in your personal opinions and you're making it as if your personal opinions are facts. There's a reason why WANEGBT went to #1 and was stuck in everyone's head for weeks on end. You're being completely biased. "An album track that you want to listen to again and again" - "WANEGBT and 22 are two of her worst" - you are literally just expressing your personal tastes and preferences as if they're incontrovertible facts.
To you, there might be a difference between a hit single and an album track that you want to listen to again and again. But for the GP, they're one in the same. They want a radio-friendly, hit single that they'll listen to again and again. If they're big fans, they'll buy her album and check out the other songs. But for the most part, a significant portion of the GP will just listen to the big, current pop songs on the radio in their car.
