I agree. Why send her on tour with no EP. I don't get that logic at all. Casual people will forget about her if they can't buy music whether they like her or not
This song still sounds like a lesser version of songs she's written for Katy. It will be moderately more successful than "American Girl" but it's not the breakout hit she so desperately needs.

sigh.. I'm getting so tired of Epic. They are ALWAYS messing up some artists release. I'm going to call Sylvia cuz they still aren't doing a damn thing with Kat Dhalia even after I gave them a marketing plan for her.

I agree. Forever 21 sounded so great & catchy live. I'm kinda hoping she changes course & releases that instead of SLAY. I'm not sure how the general public will react to the term "slay" either.
The fact that she's working the song out on the road will be good for it. She's paying attention, changing lyrics to be more memorable, adjusting the vocals runs. She's perfecting it. By the time she gets out to promote it, she'll be nailing the song completely (more than we can say for when she first was promoting AG).
I'm expecting a splashy, memorable video. The fact that the song calls for crowd participation bodes well for it too.

This TBH. Like people are gonna leave the show with NOTHING! The fans need to leave the show with her EP in their hands. Plus since she's opening for Karmin, she needs to have an EP so Karmin's fans can be a fan of hers too
