Y'all best bring your A Game cus I like to play hardball. I will drag if I must
Even my own faves. But I could also praise artists I hate. Bias? NONE HERE.

The goal of the preliminary round was to compose a diverse 5 track EP using any song from their artists discography. The entries have been sent to the judges, and the wait on your fate will not be much longer. For now, have a look at your competition.
Nicki makes very unique music, songs from different genres also. Such as: Hip-Hop/Rap, R&B, R&B w/ Pop Influences (Crossovers), Pop, and Dancehall/Reggae
Janet is known as one of the most diverse and innovative artists in music. She's had many songs that has touched upon many different genres, but I chose five that I believed distinctly stood out. I selected "Nasty," "Someone to Call My Lover," "Lonely," "Rock Wit U," and "Black Cat." Each of these songs are influenced by different genres and really demonstrates Janet's diversity.
Jennifer Lopez is POP, but as you listen to her songs you can find another elements mixed with the pop sound. If You Had My Love is a more slow/midtempo song and shows a soft and romantic Jennifer. Waiting For Tonight is the classic pop/dance JLo. Love Don't Cost A Thing is pure pop music, at it's finest. Jenny From The Block is the urban JLo, her signature song. On The Floor is JLo mixing her latin roots with pop/dance music.

In Leona Lewis's first EP since 2011, the X Factor UK Series 3 winner provides us with 5 brand new songs. The extended play shows diversity and quality in several ways. The opening and title track, Shake You Up, gives us a more old-school vibe that could've arrived straight from the 80's. We then slide into Take A Bow, where Lewis seems to not only step into the R&B genre, but take us into the next decade. After that, we finally arrive at present day with Outta My Head, the dance-fueled track and one of her most upbeat songs ever. Leona gets extremely vulnerable and emotional in Yesterday, a ballad that'll surely have you in tears before the song is over. Ending out the EP is an extremely personal power ballad, Alive. In this, we hear the "Bleeding Love" singer give it all she has with touching lyrics and her showstopping vocals.
My artist starts dragging the haters with her countriest song Mean. Then she goes all pop but keeping her good girl image with 22. She gets rockier and falls in love with State of Grace. Proving that she sings about more topics than just love, Tay made this beautiful song, is impossible not tearing up with Ronan. Even if we are at our baddest place she gives us hope with Change.

With this EP I tried to show , the abuse in a relationship, from the moment you realize he's not the ''one'', to the moment you overcome it: I decided to not explain every single part of it, so, you guys, can deduce it, by just listening the songs.
For this round, I use all album tracks which I considered underrated gems in every her album

To show diversity of Cheryl is tough because she's pretty much pop at its finest. I try my best to choose the top five song that I believe would make an great EP. Even tho, Under the Sun was released as a single, I still think is a weak choice and I would like it more if stays as album track. (I still like it tho). Personally, Raindrops is the weakest out of five (Ballad is not her forte), the lyrics is the main highlight for me.
I Love You showcases a variety of genres within a single track (a complimented clash of synths, house, trance which all form Kpop). The verses are much lighter and airy, while the chorus and climax really show off the edginess that 2NE1 like to embody as a powerhouse girl group.
I Am The Best is a hard-hitting song with such infectious beats. An overall fun track, oozing great pleasure into your lives. Shows off the fierce and cocky side of this EP. Incredibly catchy.
MTBD [CL Solo] is basically what its title suggests.. a mental breakdown. CL (2NE1's leader) spits rhymes over an unpredictable instrumental, which possesses a real-life breakdown of snares. Hip Hop/Rap-inspired.
Lonely is the vulnerable side of the EP, where the group admits that they can be weak at times and are vulnerable. String-based.
I Don't Care (Reggae Mix), a smooth outro to accompany the EP. The soothing harmonies are appeasing to the ear.. with a nice tropical feel.
