I never said it was comparable, though. Was just pointing out that the Brit awards did in fact air in the US.

Not you trying to compare a talk show to an awards show

Comparing a BRITISH awards show (that has no impact in the US at all and that is shown on a network with little to no audience) to an American staple (with over 30m viewers on average or more) and acting like it's audience is even close to being comparable is completely ridiculous. The Brits, that aired on Fuse, had little to no impact for ANY artist featured on it in America.

Beyonce sold so much in so little time for a simple reason

Hype + Xmas season = High sales

Even Katy the "single" seller, managed to sell over 100,000 copies of Prism in a week again during the Christmas sales rush.

I figured that once the hype wore off she would have nothing to keep the album selling considering her singles are doing well on radio but not Itunes (showing that the public isn't really here for them and no amount of SURFBOARDT!!!!! impact will change the fact that it's barely platinum).

This album will stall at 2-2.2 million. It's another case of "Born This Way" Imo when the sales are extremely frontloaded and the stans get a big ass head without waiting for the end result.

How am I talking in circles when you said the Brits were aired in the US as well after someone said she only had two performances in two different countries? As if the Brits which air on an irrelevant channel has any impact on sales in the US. Don't get mad because you aren't making sense.
