BET has a new show entitled
Sunday Best and it's actually pretty damn good. It's like American Idol for gospel singers. It's hosted by Kirk Franklin, who is a gospel legend if you ask me. BeBe Winans(sp?) and Mary Mary, also gospel greats, serve as judges.
What's so great about this show is that is deals with actual TALENTED singers. The thing about gospel music is, you have to know how to SANG in order to pull it off sucessfully. And the contestants on this show definately know how to SANG, lol. It's definately a hand clapping, foot stomping, type of show and I'm glad BET gave aspiring gospel singers an actual platform to display their talents. The show airs on Tuesday at 8 PM. If you have the chance, tune in. It's definately worth it!
