My rankings...
1)Katharine: Definitely agreed with Simon, and there was nothing wrong that performance. She had some great high notes and runs too.
2)Taylor: Really surprised me, great vocals, although he looked pretty creepy.
3)Elliot: Love that arrangement, Randy and Simon are crazy. I love his runs in the song too, definitely made it his own.
4)Paris: Very good, but Simon was right... very precocious.
5)Mandisa: Pretty good, but she always feels like she has to belt everything like crazy.
6)Chris: He went over the edge tonight... that was too far.
7)Ace: He hit all the notes, but his voice is whiny.
8)Kellie: Blah, you're dumb and not cute. Oh, you also can't sing very well.
9)Bucky: He actually put a lot of energy in to this performance, unfortunately it wasn't enough to save his terrible vocals.
10)Lisa: VERY risky, and she did not pull it off. Although... I must say even Kelly doesn't do the key change in most of her live performances, so kudos to her for pulling that off even though the performance sucked balls.

AMAZING TONIGHT!
1. Paris-Damn! You "work it out," girl! 10/10!
2. Elliot-I love "IDWTB," and he sung it marvelously. 9/10
3. Mandisa-I don't think it was a good idea for her to pick a religious song, but it was very good, nonetheless. 8/10
4. Taylor-He was able to show off his vocals more, but since he didn't move around the stage, he will lose some votes. Guaranteed. 7.5/10
OKAY TONIGHT!
5. Bucky-My mom and I want him to go, but then I was like "Watch him have the best performance of the night." I was wrong. 5/10
6. Kellie-I actually feel sorry for her. First off, who in their right mind would sing "Suds in a Bucket?" Don't get me wrong, I love that song, but what the hell? Even Simon thought it was a bad choice for a song (title). 4.5/10
7. Ace-I could care less if he goes. His performance of "In The Still of the Nite" last week was his best (and only amazing) performance yet! 4/10
AWFUL PERFORMANCES
8. Lisa-I feel sorry for her, too. I really like Lisa Tucker, but sadly, I think she'll be leaving this week. She's been in the bottom three BOTH weeks of the show, so OBVIOUSLY she'll do the same thing this week. I just hope she stays for a little while longer. 3.5/10
9. Katherine-I think this was her only truly awful performance. She killed Christina's reputation. Ayla Brown would've done it better than Katherine. 2/10
10. Chris-Why the hell would he do "What If?" He should have done "Higher" or "With Arms Wide Open." It would've suited his voice better. 1.5/10

BTW, at my Young Actors Theatre place that I go to...one of the workers there KNOWS Mandisa. She is Mandisa's friend. I'm gonna try to get an autograph is she comes to visit us.

10 Peoples...that make me think death is indeed an option.
Taylor (4/10) HE STOOD STILL! YAY! He's still Michael McDonald with some feedback problems and found a song with maybe 4 words, but compared to the assy that preceded him, it was ok. Then he had to get his Dave Matthews on in dance...oi.
Paris (2/10) WHY THAT SONG? And that outfit? And that...um...hair? And other hair attached to the mullet? Vocal was fine but very Fanty. Perf was ass.
Bucky (2/10) Oh, this one sucked. Ok, it should, anyways. I don't know if he was in key, since he's got one key. And he'd be pummeled on Nashville Star. But I didn't wish for death, so for the night that makes him wonderful.
Mandisa (2/10) Mary Mary? Gospel choice is interesting. As is her jeans. I really did not like this perf from her, and I do like a lot of gospel and Christian pop.
Elliot (1/10) What? He mumbleded more than Bucky. And was bouncing way too much, making he swerve off key.
Lisa (NR/10) I have to base it off the final perf. But doing Kelly should get ya beat down. As should being as shouty and off key as she sounded in rehersal.
Katharine (0/10) OW! Good Lord, she was horrible throughout. Sharp for 90% of the song. By far her worst perfomance. AND WHY ARE YOU SMILING?
Kellie (0/10) Sara Evans? Bitch please. Warbly out of key moronic performance, considering she clearly has no clue what she's singing.
Ace (0/10) AIEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE. Boyband pretence, warbly nasal ****, horrid "heh" noise. Several rank notes. AND STOP GOING DEAD EYE WHILE REACHING FOR THE CAMERA! Unlessw you are really a zombie.
Chris (-10000000000000000000000/10) DIE **** DIE! DIE DIE DIE DIE DIE! Nope, I don't care how good your Scott Stapp impersonation is. You do Creed, you can go ---- yourself.

I think you guys are confusing Katharine's runs and slides for bad notes cause she was still very good last night. And "sharp" for 90 % of the song is just inaccurate. Hell, Randy doesn't even know what he's saying when someone is sharp.

OK, I just finished the tape. I’ll gladly admit, last night wasn’t a full blown disaster from what I first saw. But I do think this was one of the worst-finals performance nights so far in this show’s history.
Not Best, but OK.
1.)Mandisa – I feel bad for not voting for her, she did quite all right. On the other hand though, the song was indulgent for her, and she could’ve picked a stronger song.
2.)Chris – His rendition was over-done vocally, it seemed like he was winging some of it, at least Chris once again proved his rocker status…but…its time for him to show that he can do more than just rock. He needs to divulge himself elsewhere that’s not under the rock genre; otherwise he’s losing his sizable chance at winning the competition... But I kinda liked this performance. : p, “What if” came from the good Creed album…way before Scott Stapp maxed his crazy.
3.)Paris – I thought this one was sort of indulgent and I don’t think she made it her own; she did look like a Beyonce wannabe, but the last note made her stand out beautifully. I also like how she changes her style up week to week.
4.)Elliot – Great arrangement, Funky White Boy did an all right vocal, both factors didn’t come together so well, but it was all right for me. I really liked the jacket he was wearing.
5.)Katherine – She was OK…after the first 10 seconds of the performance that is… It sounded like she was having pitch problems going from certain notes, but she has a killer voice. I really liked her performance of “Freedom” during the semis; Kat needs to bring something like that back into the competition.
6.)Kellie – Sang her song way too safe for her potential, and it was boring. Plus I agree, she’s capable of picking a better song. I would like to see what she did week 3 of the semi-finals all over again. Other then that, she’s been stupidly as well as innocently cute n’ hot; Jessica Simpson has competition.
7.)Bucky – Did an all right country song, he just had 2 diction setbacks while performing. I don’t think he was bad, but it was too safe at the same time. These idols need to realize that safe performances are not only sometimes dull and boring to the audience, but their not going to get the recording contracts.
8.)Taylor – I wasn’t feeling it. Taylor even looked as if he was about to eat the microphone for a couple instances there. I also don’t think the music was loud enough during the performance, and it felt like he was off key as well.
9.)Ace – Sounded like he was whining / bleating his way through the song; terrible song choice. I wonder what other songs he was looking at…it wouldn’t surprise me if there was a Justin Timberlake selection Ace was eyeing at. I actually would’ve preferred to hear that instead.
10.)Lisa. - *Sigh* this would probably count as a reason why Kelly Clarkson might’ve no-ed to the use of her songs for AI. Lisa was trying to mimic the music video, and she sounded ugly and shaky during portions of the performance. I’ll be surprised if she isn’t in the bottom 3 tonight. This was troubling.

01. paris ........................ (+4) enjoyed the performance and theres no denying she can dance but it looked out of place
02. mandisa .................... (=) great performance but it sounded like she was yelling at some parts
03. katharine .................. (-2) intro worried me a lot but i did like the rest of the song, couldve done better though
04. taylor ....................... (+4) wasnt the best performance but a lot better than rest, this theme just sucks
05. chris ........................ (-1) it was okay, kinda yelled too much though
06. kellie ....................... (=) ok vocals, very boring and fire your make up stylist!

07. lisa .......................... (-2) she did pretty good but got overshadowed by paris and mandisa. hope shes not bottom 3 again!
08. taylor ........................ (-6) went down in ranking a lot but he didnt do bad. he did pretty good but everyone was just really good this week
09. elliot ......................... (=) he did good but just dont like him that much. i dunno, he just hasnt impressed me
10. bucky ........................ (=) as much as his singing is far from my cup of tea, he's less annoying than harry potters and chicken littles love child
11. kevin ......................... (+1) go the fkkk away already. his nostrils and lisp is so annoying when he sings. his gf is so much better. god its so annoying seeing loser kids that are cocky!!! lolz

i cannot believe that kellie is still on the show. i mean, i love her and her goofiness, but this proves how trashy america is. ever since carrie won, the show has attracted more country fans than ever. and i bet by the time next season starts, there will be at least five country contestants in the top 12. what a horrible season. at least carrie proved to be more than just a pretty face last year.
oh yeah... same goes for bucky.

1. Kellie - WOW. Really liked the song choice, and she did a great job tonight. But she kind-of had to...
2. Katharine - Alright, she definitely redeemed herself from last week. Might've been a little out of breath, but if she's in the bottom 3 this week, I'll be shocked.
3. Chris - For once, he switched up his style tonight, lost the edge, and went a little softer. I liked it and thought he did a good job.
4. Elliott - I still can't see Elliott as the next American Idol, but I think he'll make it to the top 5 if he continues to sing like he does. Unfortunately, he's really forgettable.

8. Ace - Cry-yyyyy. He was way off on the note. I'm sorry, and I may be in the minority, but I didn't like him tonight.

1.Katharine- Who else? She was great and redeemed herself from last week.

Terrible night IMO.
1. Mandisa - Way to make me interested. Too bad I grabbed some popcorn halfway through her performance.
2. Kellie - It hurts me to rank her so high.
3. Paris - Sorry, but you know Vonzell ruined this last year; we didn't need a repeat.
4. Bucky - Wow, he was better than most IMO tonight.
5. Taylor - What a snorefest!!!

7. Katharine - Everytime she hit a weird note, a child in a third world country dies
