Date: May 14th, 2012 Event: Junk Of The Heart - Latin America Tour Location: Luna Park Stadium
I couldn't go when they came to Argentina in 2009, giving two sold out shows in a smaller place where they played this time. I wanted hard to go this time, I wouldn't miss them once again! They played in a bigger place, but anyway they sold out all the tickets once again. I couldn't get tickets to be on the field, so I bought a ticket for the tribune. It happened to me the same with Arctic Monkeys (with the difference they didn't have problems with the sound), the tickets for the field were sold out pretty fast.
They played songs from their three albums and most of my favorite from all of them, except for "Mr. Maker", for me the best track from 'Konk'.
The show was amazing, but as their songs are short, it didn't last more that an hour and a half (and for me it was even shorter). It was a great night, there was a huge pogo on the front half of the crowd which I could see perfectly from where I was.
I was quite excited about this concert, I've been a fan of this band since their first album in 2006, luckily the show completely met my expectations!

Oh wow, i've missed plenty of great stuff! My favs include Divine Fits, Lee Ranaldo, Black Keys, Coldplay, Jessie Ware, Real Estate (props on including the great video for "Easy"! So good!), Grizzly Bear, The Cribs. I need to listen to that album by The Vaccines! And that's awesome that you saw The Kooks! Glad it was a good show. I haven't heard The Kooks song listed in your year-end, but i'll give it a listen from your embed.
