This set we have the second and the third appearances by Lana Del Rey. Summertime Sadness is at #59 and Video Games at #56. The later one was #20 last year. Blue Velvet is #98 this year. Five songs are still missing the chart: Bel Air, Blue Jeans, Born To Die, National Anthem, Ride. Will they all make the list?
Metric opens the set with Youth Without Youth at #60. Miranda Lambert's Over You is #58. The song was written by herself and her husband, country singer Blake Shelton. They won the CMA Award for Song Of the Year with this song, which is about Shelton's older brother that was killed in a car accident.
Give Me All Your Luvin', by Madonna featuring Nicki Minaj and M.I.A., is #57. It's the first single from Madonna last album, MDNA. Taylor Swift's Ours is #55. I confess that I'm not a big fan of Taylor's pop songs, I think when she sings country is so much better. It's her second song here, and there's still one more. Any guesses?
Ellie Goulding's Lights is #54, Beach House's Myth is #53, Coldplay's Hurts Like Heaven is #52 and The XX Angels is #51. All the four songs are the only appearances by these artists.
