RCP pisses me off. I try to take them seriously, but come on... PA, NV, WI, and MI are clearly going to go to go blue unless something drastic happens, but they refuse to paint their maps and have Obama's Likely EC at 201 to Romney's 191. The **** is not that close.

polls always have different results because they sample different people and different amounts of people, that's why they are usually all averaged together.
There's also an outside chance that the Democrats will PICK UP one seat in the Senate (thanks Todd Akin and R. Mourdock)! Still a far cry from the 60+ fillibuster-proof majority of 2009/2010.
I really feel like there's gonna be a lot of shady work with the voting. I'm already hearing about places where if your signature doesnt match whats on file then your vote is tossed, some files havent been updated in 10 years so signatures may have changed along with shutting down voting places for a random hour or so for "reasons".

The signature thing is for provisional ballots. If you refuse to show voter ID, you can still vote (in most states). You will just be asked to do a provisional ballot which will be checked, verified, and counted within 7-10 days after the election. Just make sure you are at your correct polling center and you have an ID with you.

My wife and I went to the voting booths this morning before work. There were 4 older ladies running the show and 3 voting booths that are similar to a science fair project in how they fold up. They had an oval VOTE logo on top center and a cartridge slot on the left that the volunteers used to start your ballot.
I initially selected Obama but Romney was highlighted. I assumed it was being picky so I deselected Romney and tried Obama again, this time more carefully, and still got Romney. Being a software developer, I immediately went into troubleshoot mode. I first thought the calibration was off and tried selecting Jill Stein to actually highlight Obama. Nope. Jill Stein was selected just fine. Next I deselected her and started at the top of Romney's name and started tapping very closely together to find the 'active areas'. From the top of Romney's button down to the bottom of the black checkbox beside Obama's name was all active for Romney. From the bottom of that same checkbox to the bottom of the Obama button (basically a small white sliver) is what let me choose Obama. Stein's button was fine. All other buttons worked fine.
I asked the voters on either side of me if they had any problems and they reported they did not. I then called over a volunteer to have a look at it. She him hawed for a bit then calmly said "It's nothing to worry about, everything will be OK." and went back to what she was doing. I then recorded this video.
EDIT: There is a lot of speculation that the footage is edited. I'm not a video guy, but if it's possible to prove whether a video has been altered or not, I will GLADLY provide the raw footage to anyone who is willing to do so. The jumping frames are a result of the ****** camera app on my Android phone, nothing more.

Because he is ahead by a landslide, I will give the democrats a +1 or +2 edge in the polls. But I wouldn't give them a edge of 8 or 12 points, simply because thats what happened in 08. I mean 08 was HISTORIC. We will never see an election turnout or model like that again.
This will be my last post. Romney will win 291 electoral votes. If you all keep listening to the polls, you are going to have one depressing night. I won't be as depressed if Obama wins, because I know the good ol' Congress won't allow Obama to keep destroying the country.
