Edit: The European leg ended with 115.7 million in gross from 33 shows.
The American Leg is at about 57 million in gross with 16 shows.
172.4 million from 49 shows.
3.5 million average gross a show * 89 shows should have her ending this tour with 320 million in ticket sales + tour merchandise UNLESS she adds another leg next year (which I don't think she will).

Bruce Springsteen and U2 have also spectacularly sold out all their latest tours. The Wrecking Ball Tour is already at 180 million despite prices not as expensive as Gaga/Madonna (because its a rock show, no need for costume changes and ridiculous props) and with 20+ dates still to go.

No way...... I'm thinking she'll do a comfortable $340 come the end of the tour. 40 shows left and doubling her bank is going to be a reasonable goal.

Is that really the attendance for the two Yankee Stadium shows? The gross is magnificent, but the attendance seems low.
|
Yankee stadium can hold 52,000 for a game. For a concert you have to knock off a good amount of seats despite field seats. I haven't ever seen a number for Yankee Stadiums concert capacity so I can't say what it is for sure but 40,000 seems right. Take for example: Twickenham Stadium and Lady Gaga. The capacity for that stadium is 82,000 but the concert capacity is only 55,000.
ETA:
The Per concert average is now: 172 million (total gross)/49 (total shows) = $3.5 million per show average

We're all hopeless dreamers that more will be added. I wish she would at least add 4 shows to the filler dates of the South American leg then announce a 'big surprise'.
But being realistic if she did say something like that, it would get everyone all gassed up and have forums blowing up saying that she's coming here, here, here, here and there when it's something like the DVD/Blu-Ray release.
