Album Review:
The phenomenal dynamic duo for 2011 brings us the party album of the year. LMFAO definitely will be remembered for this year thanks to their second album Sorry For Party Rocking which contains irresistible party anthems with so far two unforgettable dance tracks. The lead single ‘Party Rock Anthem’ is so everywhere for the second half of the year where everyone is hypnotized “shuffling”. It manage to peak at #1 on the Billboard Hot 100 and is now considered the party song of the year. The next single ‘Champagne Showers’ however failed to match its success despite Nathalia Kills being featured on this one. Their current single ‘Sexy And I Know It’ is another smash hit for the duo. The “Wiggle, wiggle, wiggle” part is just fun and you cannot avoid it. The album contains mainly party beats perfect for clubs and disco. The intro track ‘Rock the Beat II‘welcomes you for what are you going to hear with some funny conversation. The title track ‘Sorry For Party Rocking’ adds also as a highlight for this album while the party continues for the tracks ‘One Day’, ‘All Night Long’ and the repetitive ‘Take It To The Hole’. Feel good vibe track ‘Best Night’ adds Will.I.Am, GoonRock & Eva Simons to the fun while the record ends with the cool tune for ‘With You’. LMFAO surely delivered an album filled with electro pop combined with Hip hop sounds plus auto-tuned vocals thus resulting to earn them recognition as one of the best acts of the year.

Album Review:
Newcomer Jessie J delivers her debut album Who You Are which is one of the best albums released this year. She first came out with the crazy ‘Do It Like A Dude’ which to be honest not my favorites of the album. Jessie J got introduced worldwide thanks to the phenomenal hit ‘Price Tag’, with a little help from B.o.B. The unforgettable lines “Everybody look the left, everybody look to the right” and the chorus part “It’s not about the money, money, money. We don’t need your money, money, money” became a singable phrase throughout this year. Jessie provides some powerful vocals with the angry ‘Nobody’s Perfect’ while ‘Abracadabra’ is such a magical and fun pop song. I surely do love the chorus for this one. She sounds good live on ‘Big White Room’ where she sings “I'm going crazy, I'm losing my mind” in that particular room. Other fun tracks of the album are ‘Rainbow’ and the attitude song ‘Who’s Laughing Now’. A bit of jazz style is incorporated for ‘Mama Knows Best’ which she delivered so well I must say. The inspirational themed track “Stand Up’ is one of my favorites as Jessie sings about living your life like it's the last. She again delivers high vocals for “I Need This’ and the title track ‘Who You Are’ ends the disc where it talks about being true to yourself. The added track for the Platinum edition ‘Domino’ is my most favorite track and her best so far; she delivered a great song that is fast rising to be another hit. Truly, Who You Are deserves a spot in my albums list. All the tracks are enjoyable to listen and this introduced Jessie J to the music scene.

Album Review:
It’s been more than two years since Chris Brown had that unforgettable moment with ex-girlfriend Rihanna and thus resulting for his music to suffer. With two albums for him to win the majority back, he personally got my attention once again with his music for F.A.M.E. I listed this album as far as #11 since almost all tracks are potential successful singles. The album starts with his farewell theme song for ‘Deuces’ then followed by the slow jam ‘Up 2 You’. The next track is the make out song for ‘No ********’ which by the lyrics, it will surely seduce you to what Chris wants to do. ‘Look At Me Now’ is one of the highlights of the album although Busta Rhymes owns this track with that amazing tongue-twisting rap part. Being a Michael Jackson influenced artists, Chris Brown samples the king of Pop’s ‘Human Nature’ for ‘She Ain’t You’. The lead single ‘Yeah 3x’ is one of my favorite tracks; this is a recommended song to open up a party. Pop heartthrob Justin Bieber offers his vocals for ‘Next 2 You’ thus resulting to another hit single of the album. Other good tracks on this album are ‘All Back’ and the pumped-up track for ‘Oh My Love’. Ludacris is featured on the grower song ‘Wet The Bed’ while a song about regrets of expressing one’s feeling is ‘Should’ve Kissed You’. The standard edition of the albums ends with the good vibe anthem ‘Beautiful People’ which is another highlight of this album. F.A.M.E. definitely helped Chris Brown to earn back the respect as a musician; I know for a fact that he has grown as an artist and let’s hope he’ll improve more for the better.
