This is bollocks, as the S&M remix proved Britney cannot carry off those vocally strong songs like Rihanna can, they are very different artists, Rihanna does loud and powerful, Britney does breathy and sexy. Both are fantastic in their own right but if they had have swapped discographies they would not be where they are now. Britney passed on Umbrella because it wasn't right for her, it was right for Rihanna.
