It's hard, I can't find anybody who is gay that I like, most of them are straight. I don't want to tell my whole family, but I have told my aunt & cousin and they are fine with it luckily. I don't feel completely like my self because I have to hold back and act straight so I wont be attacked or picked on for being gay. I am always asked do you have a girlfriend yet? and I have to make up some lame excuse to escape from those questions. I'm also told why I don't have many friends, because they think I look like the popular type but i'm not since i'm shy, I don't get involved with sports neither. It's like i'm surrounded by Chinese people.

No, I enjoy being gay. I don't feel responsible for the issues others have with their own sexuality that makes them homophobic.

By the end of the day it doesn't matter who I sleep with. My mother would still be disappointed with some aspect of my life. Some people would still try to tell me how to live my life. Just being alive in general puts you in the position to disappoint someone. Not everyone is going to agree with your life, gay or straight. Which is why I would not change my sexual orientation if I had a choice.

I used to feel this way in middle school, where I felt guilty, alone, and ashamed. Most of those feelings came from not really having any support..But sometimes the biggest support system you can have is yourself, which is enough for me

I get it, but I've never dwelled on what could've been. What's the point? You just can't help yourself sometimes? I worry about things that I have control over... mistakes I've made. Being gay isn't a mistake, so I just can't be mad about it. At the same time, I never had big problems with it. I was an awkward little kid and I sucked at sports, so of course I felt like I was disappointing my dad/brother, but my family and friends are super accepting and awesome.

I'm having my identity crisis now.
I feel like I'm ready to come out, but I get my drivers license in about a year, and i can drink and party in a year, so I'll be getting my gay on .

I hate being 'stuck' right now though. It's soooo frustating, but I believe everyone around me is accepting and don't really mind. BUT. My brother is like the closest person to me, and I dunno how he'd react. We're on some sort of bestfriends-brother-type thing. He's so nice to me . I'm most likely moving into his college-people-house later too. omg. And my dad is slightly homophobic.
