Worldwide: Lady Gaga, Rihanna, Beyonce. There are always WW Britney fans but her singles are only really doing fantastically in the US at the moment, she isn't getting much exposure in Europe anyway. Katy is selling the singles but no-one cares about her or her album. Ke$ha is successful but no-one takes her seriously either, sad cause she is awesome.

But it's obviously not as wide as Shakira, Rihanna or Lady Gaga atm. (I mean everybody and their grandma knows who Shakira is) She's still more of a household name than say Adele, Katy Perry or Ke$ha

North America - Lady Gaga and Katy Perry are huge there. But Rihanna is a close third. Beyonce and Britney are also very successful there, too.
South America - Shakira, Britney, Beyonce, and Rihanna
Europe - Beyonce, Shakira, Rihanna, and Lady Gaga
Africa - Rihanna and Shakira
Asia - Avril Lavigne and Lady Gaga
Australia - Pretty much all of them. But the largest are probably Rihanna and Gaga at the moment.

I took Adele out because she isn't a popstar, but she's huge in Australia, North America, and Europe right now.

She hasn't left the country this era to promote. Hell, even "Circus" had had that small worldwide promo tour.

Her singles are doing amazingly in the US though, with minimal promotion (Jimmy Kimmel, Good Morning America, Billboard Music Awards.)

"Hold It Against Me" hit #2 worldwide, "Till The World Ends" hit #6 worldwide, "I Wanna Go" has hit #10 worldwide so far. While the other girls are heavily promoting domestically and worldwide, and underperforming.

Beyoncé is not above her worldwide. She has yet to have a worldwide top 10 single this era.
