Singer Cheryl Cole will appear in scenes in the US X Factor despite her exit from the show.


The 28-year-old helped judge some of the contestants on the early episodes of the US show before she was fired and returned home to the UK.


However executive producer Cecile Frot-Coutaz said she was set to return to the UK version of the show.


According to UK newspaper Daily Express, she said: 'After Simon Cowell's departure, they had to recast the British show.'


She also spoke about how Cole's exit will be shown on screen, she said: 'We're going to air the shows as they happened. Cheryl was with us for two cities and when we air those cities, she'll be in the scenes.


'There's not a big explanation. Sometimes you have guest judges and they're there for a couple of cities. You don't dwell on the judges. It's about the talent; it's about the auditions; it's about the contestants.'

Simon Cowell Keeps Cheryl Cole As Tulisa Stand-by On UK's 'X Factor'


Cheryl Cole is thought to be on the sidelines in case Tulisa doesn't prove to be a good judge on the 'X Factor', at the request of Simon Cowell.

The former 'X Factor' judge reportedly met up with Simon Cowell in Cannes last week with her U.S. manager will.i.am, and they are said to have discussed the possibility of Cole returning to the show.

It's thought that will.i.am and Cheryl Cole, who were in Cannes together last week, attended a private party with Simon Cowell and Kate Moss in nearby Saint-Tropez and they ended up talking about it.

A source told Now magazine: "She wouldn't have met up with Simon without Will being there. But Simon wants to be mates again."

With rumours circulating about Cole being a target for the new BBC show, The Voice, Cowell is keen to prevent any more offers coming her way from rivals.

The insider also added: "Simon wants to put a stop to any offers she's had from the rival show. He wants her waiting in the wings to save the UK X Factor if Tulisa Contostavlos doesn't work out."

Earlier this month we had rumors of Cheryl being seen by several people in LA’s Sunset Marquis having lunch and breakfast with Christina Aguilera, it lead to the media and fans believing that they maybe working together on music, and yesterday, more rumors came out as somebody tweeted about seeing Cheryl with Christina on a beach in Hawaii.

We know for a fact that Christina is in Hawaii with her boyfriend Matt, we haven’t seen Cheryl, the people who tweeted about their sightings before didn’t seem to be fans of both of them, so there’s a chance this maybe true.
