It will underperform due to lack of promo, especially outside North America. I'm not expecting her to do interviews and perform after the release week. She and her team will focus on the tour once the album drops, which is where the money is nowadays.

My prediction stays the same for her first-week sales in the U.S.: around 350,000 units.

No, not they..just one poster on ONTD who went around looking at pre-order charts and had decided to make a post about it, and the moderators on ONTD decided to accept it.

Everybody is just jumping the gun..Britney fans aren't going to let her down on the FIRST WEEK. Her fan base is known for the first week sales, that is their thing. After the first week, is what Britney needs to focus on and worry about.

I see her debuting at #1 or #2. I expect her sales to range between 200-350k.. And as far as overall maybe 500k WW? I don't know.. I don't think it will flop but I think it will just not meet expectations/under perform.

Britney and her label would have a lot to lose if she said the opposite, sometimes people have to lie and be fake even if it isn't part of their personality, I'm not saying it's a fact or that's what's happening but it's something I wouldn't be surprised..

But she has said that several times in all her interviews. She could just not say anything. When she was asked how she sees herself in 10 years, she could have just said with her kids or something. I think she still loves to make music she has been too enthusiastic with this album, she has never showed such enthusiasm with her music since In The Zone days

Ok this is about relevance not charts.
Yes they’re important but is not everything! Hopefully with this EVERYONE start to understand that life is not only about charts because at least here in ATRL everyone is practically always only talking about that (It’s soo annoying). And I think she will def debut at #1 anyway

Ohh and seriously BIONIC has been HUGE!!! It appears on every thread, that’s what I call a hit and relevant album because EVERYONE is always (still) talking about it
Also in some way she deserve it (not because I’m a “hater” and I don’t like her) simply because Britney seriously don’t give a ****, everything is done by someone else she’s just like the image and she’s always expecting to fans do wonders without she doing NOTHING.
I don’t see any interest coming from her, Also let’s be honest she’s not that relevant anymore yes here in ATRL still a queen but this is not the world and in some way this is good for the fans so maybe like this she understand and try to get moré involved in her proyects, do more promo etc..

if it’s a good album and if at the end of the year this is one of the most relevant albums (like Bionic was last year) then that’s what count not some stupid charts also we are in 2011 let’s not expect HUGE sales on ANY artist.

And sure that this at least on first week will debut at #1.

Just to clarify, this thread IS about sales not relevance. It is about whether her sales will be flop level (not whether she is #1, not whether the album is relevant)
