New comer Bobby Ray also known as B.o.B. came to me as a surprise when he released the single Nothin' On You. As days pass by, I was into this song and with the help of the chorus done by Bruno Mars, I'm into this song whenever I hear it. The follow-up smash hit single for Airplanes made me realize that B.o.B isn't just a one hit wonder. Having Hayley Williams do the singable and infectious chorus, I was into B.o.B's music which made me listen to the other songs from his album. Other great tracks from The Adventures of Bobby Ray are Bet I, Magic and Past My Shades. B.o.B had a number of collaboration with this album but it doesn't mean he is being overshadowed by the featured artist on a particular track, and that makes every song a bit entertaining to listen. The album ends with the second part of Airplanes and it includes a part from master rapper Eminem while Hayley Williams once again does the chorus. With the success of his first two singles, who knows B.o.B might score another hit with this album. We'll just have to see it for ourselves.

07. Adam Lambert - For Your Entertainment
Next on the list is last year's American Idol runner-up Adam Lambert with his debut album For Your Entertainment. I've enjoyed listening to this album only this year that's why I included it and I must say there are good tunes to listen to. The first single For Your Entertainment is a catchy seductive track which made me more curious to know more about Glambert. The successful follow-up Whataya Want From Me, which is the standout track in the album, shows us a little more of that rocker we saw on the contest. There are plenty of songs that were obviously written to be club anthems, and more likely gay club anthems. If I Had You is super fun and danceable, it is surprising that this became a hit anywhere. Lady Gaga also contributed to this album with the track [I]Fever[/I ]with the lyrics irectly mention a male significant other. Definitely For Your Entertainment gave Adam Lambert an initial success and who knows he might surprise us more with his style and music with his next project.

06. Alicia Keys - The Element Of Freedom
The Freedom Of Element is one of my favorite albums to listen to and I often play it once in a while. Alicia Keys latest album is sure to make to my list this year because I have enjoyed her singles and songs from this album. The lead single Doesn't Mean Anything is a good song but it's not much appreciated and wasn't that much of a hit. One of my favorites songs, the grower Try Sleeping With A Broken Heart gave me a reason to listen to this album and I fell in love with this song during the early part of this year. Her collaboration with Beyonce for Put It In A Love Song is a great danceable track as Alicia and Beyonce's voice blend so well. The track for Unthinkable (I'm Ready) gave me a surprise as I didn't notice that I was falling in love with it already, it's such a beautiful song. The album ends with the second part of Empire State Of Mind as Alicia Keys owns this track along singing what it feels like when you're in New York. Truly The Element Of Freedom is a masterpiece and I'm excited to see what Alicia Keys has for us in the future.
