"The 1" is AWESOME.

But am I the only one who notices that she sounds a bit like JT in that song? Her characteristic bluebird voice (though it's very melodic in that track), combined with JT-esque production (Timbaland-esque?), make it sound like something he would've done.

Either way, I love it! And I'm getting more and more excited for Discipline to drop!

A plea: don't download it... buy it. The same people who are saying she'll flop are the ones that will make it happen by downloading the thing instead of paying for it fair and square.

Well, the ones who are saying she'll flop probably don't much like her, so they wouldn't buy her CD whether or not they download it.

^IMO it's not worth buying. From what I've heard so far I actually think I like 20 Y.O. better and I actually paid for 4 of the songs from that album on iTunes. I don't think I'll be buying any of these songs except maybe RWU. I'm already burnt out on Luv.

You just made my heart skip a beat...such a nice thing for you to say!! Yeah I know a lot of people think I'm too hard on janet, but I'm really just trying my best to be objective about it. Discipline is alright, but nothing really spectacular is all.

20 Y.O. sucks.

I simply abhor that album.

It's the most faceless trash she's ever put out. It doesn't sound like her, the beats are boring at best (I only like two songs, and they're ballads), "So Excited" reeks of pre-Control production, and the album cover doesn't even LOOK like her! All of the promo shots were airbrushed to hell!

Discipline is infinitely better. Seriously, yo.

^not really...I thought I knew what was coming with "Feedback", "Luv", and "Rock With U" but the new leaked songs sound completely diffrent. It's not relevant to judge the album when you really haven't even heard it

Well, actually, I just listened to "2Nite" (again) on YouTube and it's really a superb track. It will set the clubs on fire.
