UGH I couldn't sleep lastly night because I read this thread!! I've never had anything paranormal happen to me, but I guess I have a creepy experience with a human..

I was 12 ( I think?) and I was at my friends house (Jeff) with another friend (Josh) and we were playing hide and seek in the dark. Jeff had two big trees in his front yard where we were playing, and after a while he had caught me and we were looking for Josh in the front yard and we were walking towards one of the trees when we saw someone step out and look at us, so we called out his name and then we saw Josh step out from behind the other tree and me and Jeff both FLIPPED out and ran into the house and left Josh 😂😂. (He came in a few seconds after). The worst part is he lives in the country and didn't even have a neighbor on the side of the yard where we saw the person, and the neighbors on the other side was an old couple with no children 😫😫

I seriously think being buried alive is the worst thing EVER. Here is a real account of it happening reported in the New York Times on January 18, 1886:

WOODSTOCK, Ontario, Jan. 18. — Recently a girl named Collins died here, as it was supposed, very suddenly. A day or two ago the body was exhumed, prior to its removal to another burial place, when the discovery was made that the girl had been buried alive. Her shroud was torn into shreds, her knees were drawn up to her chin, one of her arms was twisted under her head, and her features bore evidence of dreadful torture.

Poor girl. Probably had a rough night drinking and was breathing a little too lightly. I couldn't imagine waking up in a coffin 6 feet under...

There are tons of stories of people waking up while being cremated too.

I remember watching a documentary about Buried Alive stories and they used to hear screams sometimes when they burned the bodies in the furnaces in the crematoriums.

My stories aren't anything special compared to a lot of posts in here, but a few years ago my mom used to have these recurring dreams of a woman with long black hair and pale white skin who would sit in the corner of her side of the bed and just stare at her or hover over her. My dad would wake her up from time to time because she kept struggling around in her sleep. My mom is a Christian (not overly religious) so whenever she has bad dreams she recites a verse from the bible that helps her feel better and stops bad dreams from her experience. But whenever this woman appeared she could never speak or say anything and the woman would try to cover her mouth if she attempted to speak. A few days later my mom asked me what I was doing up all night instead of being asleep because she heard someone walking down the steps and moving the chairs in the kitchen and assumed it was me but I had gone to bed early the night before and told her I wasn't up at all. Anyways, we ended up moving to a bigger house a few months later (not because of her dreams) and a few weeks later my mom went back to our old neighborhood to visit our neighbor who she was friends with and her friend told her that she'd been having dreams about a woman with long black hair and pale skin who kept sitting beside her and attempting to cover her mouth (she lived alone so I felt for the poor woman) and then they both got so deep in a conversation about the woman trying to figure out what it could be about or who it was. And my mom is Japanese so I wasn't here for her The Grudge era. But since we've moved she hasn't had any dreams related to that woman and there hasn't been any random moving of chairs at night.

The only time I've ever experienced something "creepy" myself was this summer. I would stay up until about 2-3AM with my younger brother and we'd watch movies and I usually have all lights off because I hate wasting energy and we were in the living room at around 2:50-ish when suddenly we hear very soft knocking on the door followed by the door knob being moved around violently and I saw a shadow next to the window and I turned off my computer screen so fast and pushed my brother out of the way and hid behind the book shelf xo. But nothing happened after that until a few days later when it happened to my brother when he was alone, but luckily he was with our dog at the time and our dog will bark at the door the moment he feels somebody approaching our house, so I'm guessing he scared whoever it was and nothing ever happened again after that. And this was when I'd play 5 Nights At Freddy's so I was PETRIFIED.

I have many stories but let me tell this one real quick. Its not creepy by any means but its just weird.

One time I went to my uni's library and somehow I managed to lost my wallet there and I didnt realise until I got home. On the wallet I have this huge Born this Way and Lady GaGa writing by eraser pen. A few days later I got a text message to my phone. It says

"Hi. Don't ever lose your wallet again. Its important to you, go to the library where you study and ask the staff to get it back"

The weird thing is, there were no number which sent the text to me. It has a name and it was... Lady GaGa who sent the text. But I never saved anything under 'Lady GaGa' in my contact, so how it appeared as Lady GaGa ??? There was no number, just the name. I was unable to text it back because there was no number. The next day I went to the library and they had no idea who returned it.

When I was 9, I had a friend spending the night one....night. It was super late and we were playing video games in the living room. I then suddenly got the feeling like we were being watched. I look to my right and there in the window, stood a man. I remember everything about him to this day. He was a white man. I could tell because he was wearing a short sleeved, dark blue t-shirt that had a little pocket on the chest. His arms were very hairy. He also worse black gloves and a black ski mask. He had his hands cupped on either side of his face, so as to block any glare from the street lights to get a better view of us.

I yelped and curled into a ball. My friend saw him and did the same thing. She asked me what were we gonna do. I said, "At the count of three, we're gonna run upstairs and get my dad." I got to two and took off. My friend was right behind me.

We barged into my dad's room and tell him what we saw. He leapt out of bed and ran outside, but the guy was gone.
