Chart Analysis: Sorry for the late update another week in a row. I was pretty sick for a couple days and wasn't able to do too much. Not gonna talk about it that much here, but maybe when I update my YTT. Thanks for bearing with me though everyone and voting. I won't be this late again.
Somebody remains at the top for a 3rd week becoming the longest charting number one since Taylor Swift's Style. The rest of the top 5 remains pretty static also. Sugar returns, but the rest basically switch places.
Interstingly, the top 5 here and the BIllboard chart is one of the most different in recent memory as many of the top 5 there are not here. The number one song See You Again is far from number one here, and Trap Queen is nowhere to be seen. Different strokes I guess!
There are a couple new debuts this week on the chart. David Guetta and Nicki MInaj's skyrocketing Hey Mama, Ed Sheeran's long to debut Thinking Out Loud, and Little Big Town's Girl Crush. Good to know they this countdown has no type, since they all are pretty varied songs.
There are some interesting new debuts this week on the voting list. There is something by someone called Silento called Watch Me (I personally know nothing about the song or the artist so no puns this time, I will keep silento there). Zac Brown's Homegrown also re-enters, as does George Ezra's Budapest.
If you want a Homegrown hit, you might want to go with Zc.

NEW UPDATE
Chart Analysis: Alright, we are back on track now. A day late, but things are running smoothly from here on out. We have a somewhat surprising number one. After a debut at number 7 last week, Little Big Town'sGirl Crush is now the number one song. It is also the number one song by a large margin. We also have another country song in the Zac Brown Band's Homegrown which debuted
Bringing up the number two position is Dear Future Husband, another surprising placement because this chart has not exactly charted Meghan's other songs very highly before. The previous number one Somebody by Natalie La Rose drops down out of the top 5; but things are still competitive enough as to where the song can mount a comeback.
Debuting songs include Britney Spears's Pretty Girls, Florida Georgia Line'sSippin' On Fire and OMI's Cheerleader.
That's it for this week. Thanks for the votes! See You Again (feat. Charlie Puth) next week!
Thanks for the comment flame. Bad Blood has a great video. Can't vote for the song yet though. Maybe next week Surprisingly, Thinking Out Loud didn't seem to have any chart history previously after a search. Unfortunately, it debuted just last week.

NEW UPDATE
Chart Analysis: This week we continue to see Taylor Swift's strength. She shakes things up by somehow making a comeback and launching her Style into the top spot for another week at number one. She and her Style become the longest charting non-consecutive number 1 on my chart; this shouldn't be a surprise considering her domination on the personal chart here. She also has Blank Space, and Shake It Off surprisingly hitting close to its peak. Next week, her Bad Blood should chart so potentially she could chart 4 of her singles here at the same time and take up 20% of the songs on the countdown if all 4 chart.
Bad Blood doesn't chart this week. This week is the debut of Pretty Girls! In fact, there re several debuts. Florida Georgia Line, Andy Grammer, and OMI (with his potential song of the summer) also debut along with Britney and Iggy Iggz.
There is not much else to say besides I am considering making this more fun. I have a couple ideas including embedding youtube links throughout for all the songs charting (like I do on my personal countdown), potentially adding voter requested songs to include among the Billboard top 40, and maybe doing more of a live reveal for the next set. Obviously, I'm still thinking about all this, but I do always want to try and improve everything I do so we'll see (especially if I make it through this next finals week ) ! Stay tuned
Debuting songs include Luke Bryan's lead single Kick The Dust Up, Nicki Minaj & Beyonce's Tidal Wave of a hit Feeling Myself, Fight Song, and the new number one in the country (and most likely here) Bad Blood... Vote for all, some or none, whatever you want.
That's it for this week. Thanks for the votes! Will Luke Bryan be kicking dust up on the chart next week?
