I'm confused about this. Is this a permanent thread? They shouldn't let users make threads in this forum: just one for each artist to keep it clean.

BTW has proven that Gaga is an artist .. She can write songs , produce....But it seems that it's really hard for her to mix between artisty and commercially this era.... I really hope we can see another TF(M) Gaga back .. And I don't mean by that That era or that album ..... But I mean the Gaga who can be artistic AND AT THE SAME TIME commercially...

Exactly. When people talk about wanting something like TF era again, it doesn't mean we want her to repeat an entire era. It means doing something like back then. Being innovative, creative, artistic but mass-appealing at that same time.

In hindsight, Monster not being a single was for the best. Even though I wanted it. Same for DITD.

1. Monster sounds like PF. Then it sounds like MTN. Imagine if MTN had been the first single I would have been a great single though But I applaud that she did the unexpected.

2. DITD is great, but the Vogue part would have had a negative effect (maybe). Maybe had Alejandro not had happened...maybe it wouldn't have. I guess had they traded DITD in for Alejandro it would have been fine, but Alejandro >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>

I understand the choice of "Telephone" as a second single, but I never really got into "Alejandro". It was too "Isla Bonita"for me. "Monster" would have been a much better choice. "Dance In The Dark" should have been chosen to wrap up the era, as you guys said.
