You're supposed to eat something before working out for energy of course, but don't down a ****ing Big Mac then want to hit the gym a second later. Eating something lean (turkey, ground beef, etc), fruits, or veggies maybe an hour and a half before is best...or you can just drink some creatine.

Eating even 2 hours before makes me feel hella gross when working out though. Don't know really a way around it, even if it's just like, a banana, it still makes me nauseous.
I always consume some type of caffeine before I workout. If I don't I literally have no energy. Kind of a bad habit, but it's suppose to give you more out of your workouts so whatever.

It's a metabolism booster right? So it makes sense.
I need to start drinking more green tea but I hate it.
You can just drink creatine too. It'll pack on weight quickly but you'll have a **** ton of energy to work out with. This is a substitute (per se) for eating before. I, personally, don't use it but a bunch of my friends do.
