She is declining because she let her gimmick overshadow her MUSIC. People started to see her as a "attention seeker" and she became unbearable. Then she went and did BTW Which diminished more fans and made her into a niche artist for gay's and art student's. Then instead of coming back with a fresh sound/and likeable she returned talking about art.

She just does the most for no reason, her character effect's her likability and most of the GP Can't relate to her or most of her music.

This era was doomed from the start and we all know it. The only real damage was done during the BTW era. Her singles during TF/TFM eras were good/generic enough to balance out her weird, high-fashion, theatrical persona. BTW wasn't strong enough to do that (singles-wise) and she took so long to follow-up BTW that her new image was p much set in stone

Perhaps being so controversial so early in her career. She maybe should have waited until her 4th album to be as controversial as TFM / BTW was.
I mean it clearly isn't that damaging to someone's career if done right. Look at Madonna.

But really I don't think she's had any huge mistakes that will haunt her. People over exaggerate her mistakes a lot. The GP is clearly still on her side, hence Applause being a big hit and DWUW being a moderate hit.

Alejandro was the start of her downfall, but it wasn't her biggest mistake. She could've easily released The Edge as her next single and followed it up with Americano for an easy summer smash and Alejandro would've just been a minor bump in the road.

Trust me, the "GP" don't care about video delays and her hyping up her records. They just want cool videos and catchy songs, which Gaga hasn't genuinely produced since the Telephone days.
