I can't not go to the cinema here in Mexico they are all close because of the flu but I seriously want to see some of my guilty pleasures the Hanna Montana Movie LOL! I know it will kind of suck but I don't know I have interest in see it so when cinemas open here once again I go and watch this movie.
Star Trek - Loved it. I think the lens flare effects are some of the most memorable aesthetics I've seen in a movie for a long time. Acting was good, story was great, lots of silly fun that I didn't expect to see in Star Trek. 9/10
Confessions of a Shopaholic - I thought this movie was a little more on the Devil Wears Prada side, but it turned out to be more on the wacky Scary Movie side. I guess that's a good thing for those who enjoy that stuff, but I did not. 4/10
The Horsemen - If you enjoy dark and suspenseful movies, this is a must see. Ziyi Zhang and Dennis Quaid are simply amazing in it. 10/10
@Raguabros - I recently finished watching Eastern Promises for the second time. It's definitely up there with the best of them.
I thought that the movie was overall good. I was a little apprehensive about watching it because I had heard some bad things about it. The ending was a little cliche because you knew it was coming about 10 minutes beforehand (or at least I did). I would say that you might want to rent it rather than buy it; it depends on how you like your endings.
Ghosts of Girlfriends Past
- Matthew McConaughey surprisingly did a good job in this movie. Jennifer Garner shows off her adorably funny antics here as well.
Star Trek
- I never expected Spock and Kirk to be this ... cool! The special effects were jaw-dropping. J.J. Abrams is a living legend!
Hard Candy
- Old school "Juno" star Ellen Paige portraying an acerbic fourteen year old really paid off for her to be recognized as an actress who is able to span out on different kinds of characteristics for a role. The plot and twist of the movie were awesome!
Habla con Ella (Talk to Her)
- This truly deserves to be on the list of the greatest movies of all time. See for yourself how Lydia and Marco and Alicia and Benigno became star-crossed lovers in the weirdest way possible.
