I watched the movie the night after, probably the most like imagining the book in terms oe a movie that I've seen.

I really love how we literally get to see none of the progression of character from the girls going on that date to the "free for all" at the end. Brilliant.

I became instantly uninterested in the books once I heard Lafayette gets cut out early.
Should I give it a chance? Or stick to the show?

The books are good reads, some are better than others, but I keep reading them all! haha
The next book is the last one (May 2013)
As long as you don't mind 2 totally different True Blood worlds you'll like them

As far as I remember, there were multiple parts and I had to always force myself to read the second part. It was a good read when I finally finished it, haha. I should probably re-read that before the movie comes out.
