Yeah, it actually almost sounds better than Let Me Down. Different from anything else Kelly has released anyway. RCA just need to do something - seriously a single has to come July now, surely.
The premature leak of Kelly Clarkson’s rumored new single “Let Me Down” may have finally kick-started her notoriously unstable new album era into action after constant pushbacks have left fans scratching their heads since last year.
According to DJ Adam Rivers of Connecticut’s i983 radio station, RCA Records have exclusively sent them the final version of “Let Me Down”. They’ve been playing the song for hours, and crazed Kelly fans who have tuned into the station’s live stream are claiming to hear some minor differences from the leaked version.
This certainly wouldn’t be the first time a small radio station has gotten a big song first, and if it’s true, then it would indicate that RCA are rush-releasing “Let Me Down” to radio, and that it is indeed the official new Kelly Clarkson single. But then again, this wouldn’t be the first time a small radio station has made false claims about having a song from a popular artist either, so it’s still hard to tell exactly what the situation is.
Regardless of what happens, the response for “Let Me Down” has been overwhelmingly positive. The angsty pop-rock anthem resulted in a 86% hit rating from i983′s callers after it was played, PopCrush gave it a 4/5 star rating, and the user feedback on websites like Billboard.com and various music blogs has been great. The only negative review so far has been from Perez Hilton, who called it “awful”, which basically confirms that “Let Me Down” is seriously amazing.
people are posting all around saying there stations are adding this and they are doing votes for hot or not.
WIXX 101.1 (Green Bay WI) is the most recent one.
Surely this wouldn't be the best way to launch a come back single though? One it would be promo pretty difficult and we pretty much know bugger all about the album
