Meh, neither one really appeals that strongly to me. I can take one of the singles rates.

Let's start with eight - nine of the most talked about women here? They should take us until June. Remember, we're only ranking singles.
Mariah - Beyoncé on Top
Britney - Duca
Rihanna - Venus
Madonna - impressive instantl
Christina - Regina George
Janet - Nait Phoenix
Kylie - Me. Who else?
Beyoncé -myåforever
Pink - Michael
|
So, now that the first round of artist rates are completed, I'll present the nine that I wanted to wait on, for fear that there were either too old for ATRL's usual demographic or had not released enough singles: Whitney, Prince, MJ, Shania, Taylor, Katy, Gaga, Missy Elliot, Celine. Those will be the next nine, after those upper ladies are done.

I'm trying to pair albums with Rated R. I've left it out of a lot of rates because it's noticeably subpar, but it will need to show up somewhere. Any suggestions?

Are Blackout, Dirrty, and My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy already in rates, yet? It could be the Media Monsters rate...

Blackout's in the rate that will destroy ATRL. It, B'Day, The Fame Monster and Good Girl Gone Bad (truly her best album) will go head to head.

Body Talk, My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy, The Suburbs, The ArchAndroid
2010 alt-pop masterpieces.

WAIT. This is giving me an idea.
How superstars respond to tragedy: Rated R. 808s and Heartbreaks vs. .... give me something else people!
And JT - Kanye v. Arcade Fire v. Janelle sounds great; sub out Robyn for either Vampire Weekend or LCD Soundsystem and it becomes DELICIOUS.

I can't think of anything to go with Rated R. Maybe Graffiti and we can all sit and laugh as the stan war takes place?

Rated R, blackout, and the fame monster. The ULTIMATE stan battle. Everyone thinks each album is the most acclaimed by their artists

That's exactly what Popjustice did. EXACTLY.
GGGB v. Blackout v. B'Day v. The Fame Monster is different, and more ATRL.

Rated R v. 808s v. Graffiti? Cake-Cake-Cake-Cake. The only problem is i would have to listen to the third album.
It would be stan central, as a moderator I cannot allow it.

Well, Rated R came out around the same time Kid Cudi's album came out. Both are pretty much the artists' most acclaimed albums by their fans (and most critics)

How about Gorillaz - Plastic Beach?
Honestly, Robyn (including Bum Like You 2005) + Body Talk 1, 2, and 3 should be its own rate. Leaving Cry When You Get Older out of a rate would be a crime.
Also, Blackout would go great in that rate if we weren't already using it.

But They share a dark theme. A lot of people put them together. The dark phase in princesses of pop

1) Horchata is better than ANYTHING else on the other three albums, and I can't wait to rate that accordingly. Will VW get all tens from me?
2) ALL of Body Talk (not including Hang with Me acoustic, obv) will be playing in the Fall 2010 rate. It will be a Body Talk/Speak Now top ten, as it should be.
Hmm, Kid Cudi/Kanye/Rihanna? I dig it. It will be 9/10 Rihanna with a side of Heartless, but I;m here for it!

Super Bass is going to sneak through and win that one. You doubt the Barbs too much.
