Yes it shot up to #2, but it's fall is what's hilarious. Remember when they released song after song after song every week onto iTunes? The song would take a HUGE lead over everything else and would start to fall in the late weekend and would still be in the top 10 when the next song was released. And those had no promo nor were they even singles with radio airplay.
The fact that they couldn't do that with this is showing that they're starting to lose some of their strength. Granted they still have millions of fans, but apparently the fans either don't know about the new single or they just don't care enough to download it like they did with the non-singles released week after week.
not with that Idol performance coming up I doubt it will....
