I like where the thread starter name is (or at least the idea), because it doesn't really need it's own column, especially for news. The other stuff could use more work.

The thread preview text thing just plain sucks, it's really hard to read because good ol' vBulletin doesn't provide a way to take out image codes and other things that pollutes the rest of the text. Gone until further boredom!

Today is apparently the day of random and unnecessary changes

I decided I didn't like the "Streaming Music" thing in the Videos forum. Tierra's right, It's a better fit for Music News.

I'm trying out thread prefixes in Music News and in Celebria now. Again just experimenting, don't be alarmed!

lol. The music forum looks organized now, but cheap without the stickies . I dunno, there's too much going on atrl. I get that feeling when I look at the forums bar.

I have an extreme idea as well. How about merging the 'Celebria' and 'Video's forum? It sounds freak-ish, but thinking about it, the Celebria forum was never that active and I think with the usage of the prefixes now, there could be a video/celebria discussion happening in one place. That would lead into more focus and activity in one forum with the same purpose.

As for the 'charts' section, i don't think it needs that much attention to have its own main forum. Anyone who is interested in these chart shows can just go to the sub-forum in the music news as it used to, while the Billboard/HITS/iTunes threads are more of "everybody's interest", so i think they fit in the Music News.


My whole point is, the less forums and dividing we have, the more activity and concentration there would be.

I don't know, Mazen, I think all the forums are fairly active (the first page = about 2 days) and it would be chaotic to merge things like Videos and Celebria together, just for creating the impression that everything is more active.

I agree the Music forum looks strange without the stickies at the top, but that's probably just because we're all so used to seeing them there. Let's give it a week and see how it goes.

I don't like the new Celeb Pics forum, you can't see which one was last updated :-/

However, I don't mind the separation of music and charts.

All the sub-forums used to be right above the threads list, but now they're integrated into the top of the threads list. Just look at the top of the threads list, it's right in front of your face. That's actually the way it used to be before the upgrade in April (takes up 75% less space), but I was too lazy to change it back until I got bored this weekend.
