People just like to hate for no reason. Maybe because she gets a lot of lines on most of the songs.

Problem is, you can't necessarily count on the live performance to match what the studio arrangement actually was. The part of Miss Movin On that Ally sings live is Lauren on the actual studio version. The live arrangements are sometimes different and they can even change ( They also kept switching in the live performances how many of them did the Ooos in Who Are You that now only Camila does, harmonizing with herself on the backtrack.)

I already explained the exact words that make me know it's Ally. But I'm curious to know what markers are Dinah for you.

Here's a new debate, in Camila's "I feel the fever" and "I break a sweat" "I aint told you yet" there sounds like a voice underneath it. it also sounds like there's a voice under Lauren's. They love having Lauren and Dinah harmonize these days. Could that be her? Or is that really just echo-y voice effects?

That's probably just Camila singing in a lower tone. It would be ridiculous if they only gave Dinah the harmonies under the girls voices

I think we will be able to hear better when the HQ is out.

Ugh! I'm tired of them having four girls have solo parts (since BO$$), and then leave someone behind (Dinah in BO$$, Ally in TGBL).

I guess that's why they're called Fifth Harmony - whoever the fifth girl is doesn't get a verse, she'd only sing the harmonies!

I love the song! It's stuck in my head..the only thing I always complain about...it seems like a Camila solo..she's in the whole song!! what about dinah and lauren?? Mani and Ally have their moments..but that's it!

Haha, Lauren's not shy. On the early days of Xfactor I thought Lauren could look mean but as I've noted, Lauren's resting face is not a smile. It's just quite serious, while Camila used to smile constantly. (Camila's gotten more self conscious about her smile because of her teeth at the moment.)

Here's one thing about the voices though, I think Camila's is distinct but I don't think it's the best. I think Dinah's in the best but it can sometimes not have all the volume or clarity it needs. They use Lauren's voice to add a depth of sound to most of the other girl's voices. Ally gets a lot of great high notes, they used Normani's whistle notes for a bit but I think they use her lower tone more these days.

I will say when it comes to live performances, I find Camila's voice is the most consistent. I find her to drop notes, crack or and go off key the least for someone who sings as much of each song as she does. And even if she's ill, it doesn't become quite as obvious as it does for some of the others.

Normani's gotten better about this but it used to be a big problem for her. I think maybe it was a vocal endurance she just had to build. Lauren's voice since it doesn't go as high as the other girls can get strained and often seems to show a lot of wear if she gets sick. I love Dinah's tone but her enunciation needs serious work. Ally's high notes are awesome, but I don't think she's quite as charismatic as a performer.
