it really is an embarrassing theory to stand by from a fan perspective. The one metric that Bey has in her favor (pure sales), she did really really well in. Everything else is moot. We know she has streaming pull since she has ~16M monthly Spotify listeners despite her last release being in 2014 (BEYONCE which amassed 1B+ streams a year after release) so it's a safe assumption to say that if she had put the album up a few months after the initial release, it would have been doing well in SPS too.

And we all know this is because she has no song selling the album.
I never once said ANTi is flopping. I said Joanne as a whole has sold more than ANTi throughout their respective first 11 weeks.
You can bring up discounts and promotions and I could say promotions for Rihanna too. It doesn't negate the fact.

Yet overall, Joanne sold more up until its 11 week.

The album has 600m+ streams without Work & NM, more than some albums' total streams.

They aren't very smart, the same ones called Formation a flop when you couldn't buy or stream it on Spotify, both things you need to do good.
They just want to ignore that it's not on Spotify because it makes ANTi look better.

Everyone knows Lemonade isn't on Spotify/AM so loses out hugely on streaming numbers, but they are made up for with huge boosts to pure sales and TEA numbers as a result of this.

I didn't think it would flop, but I felt the way the album was rolled out was a bit messy and didn't know how well the album would do. But I really have been liking the way the era has been going, and how much I really enjoyed the album.
