Well I stanned for Gaga b/c I liked her singles, voice, videos, fashion, performances, interviews etc. She really was the full package. I don't care for her singles, videos (at all!!!) , fashion, performances or interviews (bully this, bully that) this era.

What I'm saying about Rihanna is true. Am I calling her a great artist? An incredible performer? The next Madonna? No. I'm just saying she has more global hits than any popstar and that shouldn't be shrugged off. More people around the world like her music than the other pop girls at the moment. Just like I said Katy Perry is the biggest popstar in the US. And Lord knows I don't stan for Katy Perry or even like her.

While neither Madonna nor Rihanna are technically great singers, they have signature voices and are known to almost always sing live – often while putting on a show that shames many of their pop peers. The notes may not always be perfect, but we appreciate their attempts to keep it real.

That's possibly the worst compliment ever haha ... but I can definitely see how the two are similar in other regards.

While not yet, there's no reason Rihanna can't be this generation's Madonna within the next 5-10 years.

Isn't she releasing more songs than anyone at the moment? Technically Adele would be the most popular star on the planet at the moment, and hell even people like LMFAO and il Wayne are getting hits if that's your core.

Most people now the song but they don't know WHO is Adele because she's not a figure that is on TV a lot, billboards etc. Her songs are bigger than her at this point. She's not being marketed. Not like thats a bad thing but I'm sure if you ask a random person about Rolling In The Deep they will more likely know the lyrics or melody than tell you the person who sings it.

Adele is definitely the most popular musician on the planet - her success (not to mention respect) destroys Rihanna's. I said Rihanna puts out the most popular music among the popgirls...I don't consider Adele a popstar.
