Then why is it that Billboard counts Live Your Life as Rihanna's number one? I'm not even being catty/smarty ass with you, I'm just really trying to understand this wise-formula you have created! We are not talking about year-end points/Award entitlement. My original post was on Rihanna, possibly, getting her second #1 single in the UK (this year!)

But...It's called a feature; it means that another artist asked you to be on THEIR track. That's like saying Umbrella is Jay-Z's number one, but it's not - ESOM is Jay-Z's number one, and Umbrella is Rihanna's number one.
Right Round is Flo Rida's number one, that he asked Kesha to contribute to.
Run This Town is Jay-Z's number one that he asked Rih and Kanye to contribute to.
Just because an artist helps with a track doesn't make it theirs. That's like saying that Harry Potter is the work of JK Rowling's editor. It isn't.
Please read. I've said my point clearly and there's no need to state it again. The methods of chart publications do not change the simple facts. They only do that so that artists can rack up impressive chart stats.
The number one belongs to the artist who is responsible for the track's existence. Tell me, does Rihanna own Live Your Life? Is it hers?
Nope.
It's easy. The song is not Rihanna's, or Ke$ha's, blah blah, it's not on THEIR albums. But they are FEATURED on them so it counts for them a little. Don't think too much into it.

Many of the iTunes reviews for The Fame included the question: WHERE'S STARSTRUCK!?!
It wasn't on the international edition of The Fame (hence, the Canadian version), so now that it's available many are downloading it.
With it being that high, GaGa needs to take into consideration pulling a "Rihanna Rehab" seriously, I know I've said it before, but I feel like I have to repeat myself. Starstruck would go to #1 for sure. Single release should be: BR -> Telephone -> Alejandro -> Starstruck, then take a break from singles before the next album. Has anyone heard any news on her tour?
