A lot of artists have been exposed over the past couple of years. Proving that they were nothing more than label creations who relied on the payola of radio.
"Here" is a horrible album. Of course, you expect it to be didactic and cliche, because it's Alicia Keys, but sonically it fails. It's highly performative and contrived, but that's honestly who Alicia is.
Tragic sales for Chainsmokers tbh. I know it's just an EP but consider how big their singles were/are. It should sell more than 10k
Alicia's number isn't that bad, is it? Considering the sales are down dramatically since her last album and she could pull Norah's numbers (Norah were even a bigger album seller )
I don't know if it's positive word of mouth or people just realizing she has an album out, but either way, she deserves it. I hope RCA gives her some sporadic promo at least cause the album deserves to be heard
