It wasn't her purpose to cater a lot of new fans with this era, but it's still the 2nd best-selling album after Adele.

I'd say Rihanna is because she dominates over Gaga album wise and single wise. WFL is like what, going on it's 9th week at #1? and with You Da One hanging outside the Top 20 on iTunes, while Marry The Night keeps fishing for a Top 30 spot, I'd say Rihanna kills Gaga. The only thing relevant to shade Riri tho is TTTs album sales, but regarding that, Loud has outsold BTW WW and it didn't have as much promo. sidenote: I still have yet to hear anyone who's not chart obsessed or gay to say Gaga has had more of an impact than Ri.

If we want to talk about impact, who is the one who gets wider critical acclaim and more GRAMMYs, who's got more YouTube views with fewer videos, whose debut WW tour is one of the highest-grossing of all time, who can sell albums in every single part of the world even without huge radio support?

Lady GaGa is the biggest pop star to blow in the scene since Britney, but she's already fading. Still successful but the public have grown tired of her. No delusions what so ever, I can accept what my faves are but Rihanna truly is the biggest popstar out right now. She grows while GaGa gave much too much too soon.
