Do you understand what the term 'vocalist' means? Because it is painfully apparent that you don't.
Though Christina possesses a beautiful tone, she lacks the technique and sufficient control with which to better her voice. Her range has diminished, she can no longer hit the notes of her heyday due to excessive strain and misuse.
B has taken pains to improve her technical ability and can now sing with the best of them. She has remarkable control and her use of melisma, runs and trills (especially live) are to be commended. That and the fact that she is even better live than in the studio. Something I cannot say for Christina.
No, honey, it isn't opinion - it's fact. It may be opinion over who is the 'voice of the generation' but it's a FACT that Christina lacks proper vocal technique. It is a FACT that she strains to reach notes. It is a FACT that she has never hit the G5 in 'Lady Marmalade' live. It is also a FACT that her lower register lacks clarity live. THOSE are facts.
And those are facts that you will simply have to deal with. So either accept them or build a bridge and die under it.
